Nu conteaza cine si ce stie  :D vreau sa ii trecem pe toti de care aflam, care ne plac, care ne-au impresionat. Vreau sa avem la ce sa ne uitam si sa invatam.

Eu citisem pe galeriafoto.com o lista cu fotografi a caror lucrari sunt obligatoriu de vazut.  :)
In functie de subiectul preferat al fotografiilor, numele lor suna cam asa:
 - Jacques-Henri Lartigue pentru snapshot
 - Walker Evans si Eugene Atget pentru fotografia documentara
 - John Thomson, Jacob Riis, Lewis Hine, Gordon Parks, Ken Duncan, Bruce Davidson, Diane Arbus - comentariu social
 - Andre Kertesz, Henri Cartier-Bresson - fotojurnalism
 - Edward Weston, Ansel Adams - forma si lumina
 - Margaret Irving -  eleganta si pedanteria
 - Smith - contemplare (aici nu stiu exact despre care Smith e vorba, dar merita vazuti)
 - Marie Cosindas -  romantismul coloristic
 - (Henry Peach) Robinson, Oscar Gustav Rejlander - compozitie
(asta-i jumatate de lista, restul data viitoare  :) )

Nu pot sa nu va scriu o idee extrasa din "On looking at photographs" (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login & You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, care apropos sunt si ei fotografi straini  ;) ), care se leaga de ultimii doi din lista de mai sus :
Daca inceputurile fotografiei au urcat-o pe aceasta la rangul de cea mai fina dintre arte tocmai pt ca
implinea visul renascentistilor de a descrie realitatea cu cea mai mare acuratete, in timp, acesta i-a fost si motivul decaderii din titlul cu pricina. Asa a aparut necesitatea invingerii acestei simple reprezentari a realitatii, Oscar Rejlander si Henry Peach Robinson fiind apostolii noii tendinte. (Daca eu n-am exprimat-o bine in cuvinte, gasiti textul ideeii la paginile 62-63.)
